Choose a Dress to Mach your Style

It’s hard enough to pick out an outfit for the days at high-school but what about the BIG day…Prom? There are so many choices of a dress, the shoe, jewelry & accessories, the hair, and even the make-up. So how do you choose? Well, this week, PROMGIRL wants to help you decide by giving you “look” ideas and inspiration for this years Prom season. We have you covered from head to toe! Old Hollywood Glam, has been a favorite look for decades. It’s classy, it’s elegant, it’s GLAM! For this inspiration, PROMGIRL chose one of our featured dresses (CLARISSE Prom Dress 4501) that truly represents OHG! From lace to the sparkle on the high neckline, it just screams glam. The sheer lining, gives it a sultry feel. The dress has a high slit.

Styled with this dress, PROMGIRL selected a metallic rose gold pump, with or without sparkle. For the face, try a rose colored blush, a nude lip, and a neutral eye shadow. Minimum to no jewelry should be worn, but these beautiful gold flower earrings shown above, are just the right amount. A geometric or velvet clutch seals the deal. Try wavy curls or a loose chignon like Grace Kelly or January Jones!

Put a spin on your Prom look by going with EDGE. PROMGIRL has chosen this black fitted dress (CLARISSE Prom Dress 2635) with sheer lining below the neckline and at the waist. This has been a huge trend for fashion, with peek-a-boo cutouts and sheer material. Along the waistline, sequins and gems lay, mimicking a belt. The added sparkle balances the edge while still being a formal gown.
